Complete Christmas Gift Guide 2015

Sunday, 29 November 2015
It's so close to December, prime time for Christmas shopping. I have already started like many other early birds like myself. This is hopefully just some inspiration for people if they're stuck on present ideas!

This is more for ladies: Jo Malone and Soap and Glory have fast become very popular brands this year. Jo Malone is more on the pricey side, whilst Soap and Glory is lower priced, anything from their holiday collections would make a great gift to make any Wife, Sister or Mum.
Chanel is a cult classic brand, if you want to get someone just one nice gift, anything from Chanel is a winning choice.
Perfume, this is probably the best, yet hardest present, if you know what she likes, then it's a safe best to go with what you know. Some of the most popular perfumes are: Chanel no5, Lacoste pink, Chloe, Jimmy Choo and DKNY Be Delicious.

Now onto men...My first choice was any Lynx set, cheap, affordable and so many different scents you can't go wrong.
Socks, another option you can't go wrong with, Christmas socks, funny socks, black socks...It's a good stocking filler!
If you have a gamer boyfriend like myself xbox gift cards are a lifesaver, if you're struggling to find a game, go for a gift card.
This is more of random pick, but a leather jacket, it seems guys find it hard to find their perfect leather jacket, I think it's a nice gift and not stereotypical.

Frozen and any sort of superhero toys are still so popular this year, for any little girls and boys these would be a perfect theme for presents!
There are so many different Disney dvd boxsets, they make an extra special gift and are perfect for the whole family, Amazon do some great ones.
No Christmas is complete without a Cadbury chocolate stocking!

Hopefully this gives you some sort of Christmas shopping inspiration!

Where will you be Christmas shopping this year?

20th Birthday Haul!

Sunday, 25 October 2015

Recently I celebrated my 20th birthday! I cannot believe it!
What came with this is getting well and truly spoilt.
Here are just a few of my presents.

I got the Soap and Glory Soaper Star set, I was so excited to get this, I have become a massive Soap and Glory person lately, I love their products and my skin loves their products.

I got an Imperial Leather peony and cherry blossom bubble bath and a Treacle Moon coconut body butter.

Black Opium!!! Oh my goodness I love this scent so much, it is very pricey, even for such a small bottle but worth it, I was very surprised to get this.

Mac pro longwear paint pot in Soft Ochre and I finally got my final 5 eyeshadows for my pallette!!! I got the palette for my birthday last year and I waited until it was fully filled before using it, the wait was worth it! I'm planning on doing a blogpost all about what eyeshadows I picked.

I picked out my birthday outfit, being a massive girly girl and addicted to the show Scream Queens, when I saw this jumper in River Island I fell in love, the quality is great and I just love this cropped jumper. The black skater skirt to match is from H&M.

My lovely boyfriend also spoilt me he got me lots of Lush goodies as well as my family did, Primark gift card, a very special present, he created a collage and got it all framed to match the new theme in my room, Disney movies and a surprise, 30 red roses and a personalised card.

I'm so grateful for everything I've got and thank you :)

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Soap and Glory!

Friday, 18 September 2015

Lately I've been obsessed with getting really nice, soft, smooth skin, I've tried so many products, I kept switching and changing. I remembered at Christmas I had a Soap and Glory gift set of mini's and loved them, so I popped into Boots and saw Soap and Glory was 3 for 2, so I jumped at the chance and got:
 - S&G Flake Away scrub
Lovely gentle, yet scrubby enough to scrub away scales away!
- S&G Clean On Me
Creamy, gentle body wash, with added moisturiser, lasts a very long time as it's 500ml!
- S&G The Righteous Butter
A luxurious body butter, creamy, soft, smelling delicious!

Using these three products have completely changed my skin, and they smell so lovely, very floral and girly.

Now I don't even want to try any other scrubs or lotions, I'm very impressed!

Top 3 Primers: Smashbox - Mac - Loreal

Friday, 4 September 2015

Primer's are such an important step in my make up routine, I have combination skin, so I can say whether you have dry, oily or combination skin, primer helps!

I'm so fussy when it comes to primer, if I find one I like I tend to stay dedicated to it, but I have found these three to be amazing.

Starting with my all time favourite, Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: If I know I need my make up to last for a special occasion or all day, I will always pick up this primer. It's a jelly consistency, which after application makes my face feel so smooth and soft, perfect base for foundation to lay nicely. It does last all day and keeps my make up in place.

Loreal Lumi Magique Base: This is my go to work primer, when I'm at work I don't like to use the Smashbox for because I can't afford to wear it everyday (as much as I wish I could), but at work it can get stuffy and make up will wear off easily, so using the Lumi Magique leaves me with glowing skin all day, it's affordable and is good make up on a budget.

MAC Fix+: I like to use this as a second primer, so I'll put my primer on, foundation, then spray, after I finish my whole make up look I do another spritz just to lock my make up in. Fix+ is a make up collection must have, one of Mac's most popular products.

Lush Haul

Friday, 28 August 2015

Hey everyone!

It's that time of year where Lush becomes extra popular, the Autumn and Winter months are fast approaching and everyone wants a lovely, colourful, warm, bubbly bath!
Lush is the go-to place!
They have a large selection of all things body and bath, in Autumn and Winter especially Lush bring out all sorts of new products.

But this Summer Lush came out with exclusive products and they've gradually been coming round to all stores around the country, luckily enough when I went to my local Lush store in Canterbury they had the bath bomb I was eagerly wanting...Frozen!
So from wanting one bath bomb I came out with a few extra's...So I thought a Lush Haul was in order.

Frozen: It's a very blue bomb, it's a light blue and a bright blue coloured one. It also has sparkles which completely topped it off for me! According to the Lush website inside the bomb releases "Snowdrifts of silver lustre", I'm very excited to see how my bath turns out!

Ickle Baby Bot: This was my first ever Lush bath bomb purchase quite a few years ago and I still love it. A cute little blue bomb, that is calming and soothing, with lavender in it.

Creamy Candy: This is a bubble bar, one where you crumble it into the water and lots of lovely scents and bubble arise. Creamy Candy smells like Snow Fairy, the Christmas cult classic, so that sold me and it has a pretty little flower.

Butterball: I have lots of good things about Butterball because it's supposedly really good for the skin, and it's a complete calming one, helps depression and anxiety.

Sakura: This bath bomb has lots of floral scents and oils inside, it's inspired by Japanese Spring time, and it's colour scheme is white, pink and turquoise.

Think Pink: A pretty little pink bomb, that smells delicious and has three pretty flowers on it, full of goodness for the skin.

Twilight: This bath bomb is so pretty, lilac coloured with the moon and stars outside and turning the water deep purple. Smelling beautiful of lavender, the perfect bath bomb for a bedtime bath, ready to help you get to sleep.

I hope you enjoyed this haul!

Acne Skincare Routine

Thursday, 2 July 2015

Hello everyone! :)

My last post was all about my acne story, I thought a good follow up post would be my acne skincare routine.

So many products can trigger acne, so speaking to my doctor he actually recommended me dermatologist choices of skin products, he gave me three brands: Simple Skincare, Clinique and E45.

I will start off with my medicated cream prescribed by my doctor: I won't lie, it's not the nicest thing, it does burn and dry my skin out, but if it means clear skin then I persevere. I apply this every other night.

In the morning I'll either wash my face with a Simple face wipe or wash it with Simple soap.
In the evening I'll more than likely have make up on, so to start of with I use Vaseline to take my eye make up off, then I go on to use Simple's cleansing lotion for my face make up, followed by St Ives Sensitive Skin Face Scrub, then as a final wash I use the Simple soap again, to make fully sure I have got all my make up off, so it doesn't remain in my pores, which will cause more acne.
Taking make up off before you go to sleep is so important.

I use E45 cream whenever my skin is feeling a bit dry, it is always a no win situation, because the acne cream will make my skin dry, so I apply moisturiser, and then the moisturiser causes spots because of the grease, but it's all about trying and seeing what works.

I have tried this for about, 2 months now and it really has helped, I do also think drinking lots of water helps.

I hope this helps even one person, or gives anyone with acne some tips.
