REVIEW: Sunkissed Sunlight Bronze Tan

Tuesday, 29 July 2014

It's summer, (just stating the obvious) which means a lot of people rush to find the best fake tan there is. I just love using fake tan as I don't have the patience to sit in the sun all day, I also think it's a great alternative to any skin damage; as long as you still apply sunscreen.

I recently tried the 'Sunkissed Sunlight Instant Self Tanning Mousse' in dark.
They were lovely enough to supply me to a mitt too.

The packaging for this product is great, straight to the point and easy to use. The application of the tan is very smooth, the mitt absolutely helps though and the actual mousse is a light non sticky consistency.

The finish tan is a little lighter than the dark I was hoping, but nevertheless it's a beautiful bronzed colour that keeps for 5 days, if you keep moisturised every day.

I recommend this tan for everyone.

You can purchase these products here

Thanks to Sunkissed for sending me these lovely bits.

Peace out.

5 Must-Have Drugstore Products

Tuesday, 22 July 2014

Drugstore make up. What more can I say? So much variety, so much to try, but which ones are good and which aren't so good?

I'm going to tell you my top 5 must-have drugstore products, some you see in this post is very well loved by lots of beauty bloggers.

| Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation: A lot of people rave about the serum version, but I love this version. The coverage is buildable in the places you need, the consistency is the perfect balance and it doesn't feel cakey of your skin. There is a good range of colours to suite everyone, this product is also very affordable.

| Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: This is probably the biggest rave among bloggers, the drugstores version of YSL Touche Eclat. It covers them horrible dark circles under your eyes when you haven't got enough sleep, or mine which remain dark either way. It's a lovely creamy feel on the skin and it's great for contouring (to brighten).

| Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder: The perfect powder for setting your foundation, this doesn't make your skin too matte, it's not drying or cakey.

| Loreal Mascara's: Ever since I started using make up Loreal have always been my go to for drugstore mascaras, they make your lashes look so beautifully long and lushious. I've tried so many different ones and my most favorite two are the 'Telescopic' and 'Voluminous' mascaras, Telescopic first for length and Voluminous for the thickening. Perfect combo!

| Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick Collection: If you're an avid reader of my blog then you'll know these lipsticks are my addiction *insert emoji heart eyes*. The best matte lipsticks that don't dry out your lips, a long lasting finish and oh my days just try at least one and see how amazing they are.

What drugstore products do I need to try?

Peace Out.

FOTD: Summer Dewy Look

Saturday, 19 July 2014

Summer is upon us and it's that time where you want to have fresh dewy looking skin without looking greasy. I also love putting on fake tan, so this look is great is you're a budding tanner yourself.
(I primed my skin to start off with)

Products used: Maybelline BB Cream - I have a love/hate relationship with this bb cream, sometimes it applies lovely like it did here and when it does it's the best make up product for summer. What I love is that it gives a bit of extra coverage, more so than concealer and it is a key product of dewy looking skin.

MAC Select Moisture Cover -Just to cover the odd spots.

YSL Touche Eclat - I love this product, it really is the best thing to cover up my dark under-eye circles.

Rimmel Stay Matte - You might think this product would defeat the purpose of 'a dewy look' but it's translucent and for being a 'stay matte' powder it doesn't effect the bb cream.

Mac eyeshadow in 'Swiss Chocolate' - I love to use this just to fill in the sparse parts of my eyebrows.

Benefit's Hoola Bronzer - I think this is the perfect bronzer for contouring, so that's what I did.

YSL Bronzer - I used this bronzer to match my neck to my face and the rest of my tan. This bronzer has 3 different bronze shades so it's perfect.

Loreal's Superliner (Black) - My all time favorite liquid liner it makes it easy to create a great winged eyeliner.

Loreal's Miss Manga Mascara - 6 months later and it's still a favorite mascara of mine, it makes my lashes look luscious.

Of course my favorite lip combination of the moment...Rimmel lasting finish lip liner in tiramisu and Rimmel: Kate Moss matte lipstick collection in 113.

What product is your must have in the summer?

Peace Out.
