Summer 2014 Essentials

Saturday, 31 May 2014

Hey everyone.

Summer is right around the corner (even though it sometimes gets a little misguided in England when it starts raining). Nevertheless is nearly here and here are my four summer essentials for Summer 2014.

-Beach Bag: Victoria's Secret has released it's 2014 beach bag and it's gorgeous. Perfect for the beach, a good size to fit all for essentials in and has such pretty detailing.

-Bikini (Trianl): Triangl bikinis are all the rage at the moment and they're such a stylish bikini. They come in all different colours, styles and they seem like a great fit.

-Sun Lotion: I cannot stress enough about using sun lotion whenever is sunny and hot, or everyday. It can prevent so many nasty things happening to your skin and has so many benefits.

-Raybans: Sunglasses are another needed essential because of how they protect your eyes (which you need to get UV protected ones). You can get dupes Raybans from a little as £2.99 which have UV protection.

Tell me your Summer essential that I need?

Peace Out.

How To Style: Skater Skirts

Tuesday, 27 May 2014
Hey everyone.

I'm going to be doing a style post for styling skater skirts, which is one of my staple pieces in my wardrobe.

Skater skirts have been a huge trend for the past year and I confess, they have added up in my wardrobe I may have around 6 skater skirts, but've picked three to show you different ideas of how to style them.

Outfit 1: I paired my black big polka dot skater skirt with a sleeveless small polka dot shirt and knee high socks. I loved the two comparisons of different sized polka dots (very eighties).

Outfit 2: Crop tops and skater skirts are a favourite trend for many of us girls including myself. I paired this turquoise skirt with a black and white stripy crop top and grey tights.

Outfit 3: I got a t-shirt style, pattern polyester top with a cute pattern and black tights (The UK is a bit chilly at times).

I paired all of these outfits with either white or black converse.

Do you like the skater skirt trend?

Peace Out.

REVIEW: Make Up Revolution

Tuesday, 20 May 2014

Hey everyone.

Make Up Revolution is the newest hype around and I'm lucky enough to join the hype and try their products.

Starting off with the blusher in 'Sugar'.
This is the perfect pink colour to give your cheeks that natural flushed look, a small amount goes a long way. It would suit all skin colours and leaves you looking fresh (even if you don't feel it.)

This gorgeous nail polish in 'Adore' is a great polish, perfect for Spring/Summer. It only needs two coats and leaves a lovely shine, it also doesn't chip until about the third day. The only thing is wasn't to keen on the the brush, but never the less that shouldn't stop you from getting the polishes as it really isn't a big concern.

Next is an eyeshadow in 'Adore Moi' - What a gorgeous colour, it is just the right eyeshadow for a smokey eye and I've fallen in love with this product. I can't even describe how pigmented this product is.

Ultra Black Amazing Mascara is a great everyday mascara, it's very black which I like and the brush gives your eyelashes a lovely lift, it doesn't lengthen them very much; but enough for an everyday look.

I'm a big sucker for red lipsticks and when I saw this my my package I was very excited to try it, the shade is called 'Twist'. This product really didn't disappoint, it is a completely different shade of red I have ever tried and it gorgeous. The formula is really creamy and easy to apply and lasts on your lips for a very good amount of time.

What's In My Make Up Bag?!

Saturday, 17 May 2014

Hey everyone.

I love having a nosey into what other girls have in their make up bags, so I thought I'd do one of my own and you all can have a nosey.

-Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets: I had always heard of shine absorbing sheets but never really knew if I wanted to get any and thank goodness I did. It is an amazing inexpensive product that anyone who has even the gets the slightest grease on their face through the day should use to help keep your make up in place for longer.

-Rimmel Stay Matte Powder 'Translucent': I think carrying a powder is a big necessity in my make up bag, as I find if anything needs touching up, it's powder.

-Rimmel Lasting Perfection Lip Liner + Rimmel's Lasting Perfection Lipstick (Kate Moss Collection) 113: This is my go to lip combo at the moment, these are featured in my last blog post.

-Bourjois Khol and Contour Eye Pencil: I don't know about you but I find after about an hour I need to have a slight touch up so I don't look like a racoon, hehe.

-Loreal's Miss Manga Mascara: Some people find adding mascara through the day can turn their eyelashes into spiders, but I find if I just apply a very thin, small coat it just give it a boost.

What do you always keep in your make up bags?!

Peace Out.

Kylie Jenner Lip Tutorial

Wednesday, 14 May 2014
Hey everyone.

Massive apology as I haven't posted in waaaay over a week, due to not having internet for 7 days; but I'm back with this post I hope you all like.

There has been a lot of hype on the internet over whether Kylie Jenner has had something cosmetically done to her lips, or if they're natural. Either way it's her business and I love the look, so I've found 3 drugstore products to get the desired look.

I like to start off my moisturising my lips and I hear Kylie Jenner is a fan of EOS, so I had to use an EOS lip balm in 'Sweet Mint'.

To start the lip look of I used 'Rimmel's Lasting Finish' lip liner in 'Tiramisu', I lined my outer lip and inner lip. You can go over your natural lip line a little bit to give off that you have fuller lips ( I did myself)

The 3rd and final product I use to get the look is a 'Rimmel Lasting Perfection Lipstick: Kate Moss Collection (113)' and I just cover my lips with this.

Here is the finished look:

I hope you liked this re-creation and be sure to stay tuned to my blog as I have lots of exciting posts coming soon.

Peace Out.

Spring Beauty Haul

Sunday, 4 May 2014

Hey everyone.

I have a small beauty haul for you all as I done a spot of shopping for Spring and found a lot of good bargains.

When I went to Boots I spotted a couple of these packs at the S&G stand being reduced, originally they were around £12-13, but I got it for...£4! Crazzyyyyy! Each of these products are about £7 each anyway.

I always seem to find such great make up offers in Tescos, they always seem to reduce them much more than places like Superdrug or Boots.
I picked up a Kate Moss - Rimmel collection lipstick in 113, which is a lovely nude colour. I love the Kate Moss lipsticks so when I saw this was £1.49 I had to grab it.

I spotted another Rimmel product for £1.49 and that's the 'Lasting Colour Rush'  in 100 Give Me A Cuddle (I am kinda in LOVE with the name of this) - I don't have a kind of coloured balms like this, but I wanted to add some to my lip collection.

I have seen mixed reviews on this product, but as it was a simple and easy way to moisturise I really wanted to try it. £3.99

I haven't used lip liner since when I first started using make up and I see lots of MUA's using them and I see it really finishes off the lip look, so I'm hoping to get a few more.

I hope you enjoyed this haul.

What are your Spring beauty essentials?

Peace Out.
