Review: Essie Nail Polish // Status Symbol

Hey everyone.

This post is going to be a short and sweet one about Essie's nail polish in the colour 'Status Symbol'.

Essie nail polishes are my favourite nail polishes and I have tried many brands before, but it's something about their formula that gives you that manicure finish. The brush to apply the polish is one of the best, picks up enough of the polish and applied perfectly. Even without a base coat or top coat it really doesn't chip much at all, let alone with a base and top.

I feel this is a perfect bright, vibrant pink to go with a tan, especially in the Summer.

Can you recommend any of your favourite Essie colours for me to get?

Peace Out.

Selena Gomez Inspired Make Up

Hey everyone.

I've always been a fan of Selena Gomez ever since I was little watching her on Disney channel. I am always inspired by her make up looks, with seems quite similar a lot of the time; so I wanted to do a step by step post on how I got this look.

Here are all the products and tools I used!

Here is after I applied a layer of foundation and concealer (I also primer my whole face and eyes). In this next picture I applied a natural powder.

Here I lightly filled in my eyebrows, contoured to get that Selena Gomez bronzed look and added a light natural blush.

I used two neutral colours, a light creamy colour for the lid and brow bone, for the crease I use a dark brown. Then for the eyeliner I done a thin line of liquid for the top and pencil for the waterline. I used a couple of coats of mascara, top and bottom.

I used a bright red lipstick to finish off the look.

I was really happy with the finished look.

I hope you liked this re-creation!

If you would like a more in depth tutorial let me know in the comments and I'll make a YouTube video?

Peace Out.

Coachella 2014 // Style

Hey everyone.

Coachella season has come upon us and as you see all celebrities come out and show us their fashion faves and style. I feel Coachella shows the style for the Summer ahead and gives me ideas for fashion inspiration.

Here's a few pictures of some styles I've fallen in love with:

Paris and Nicky Hilton looked so stunning in these gorgeous dresses, I love both. They both have a cut out pieces with adds to the detail of the pattern, Paris kept it classy with black and white whereas Nicky went bold with a bright orange/coral.

Emma Roberts kept it chilled, stylish and cool with one of her Coachella outfits. Shorts with a Lacoste button open top and a bright rainbow belt to snazz it up, also paired with some sunglasses.

Katy Perry and Lea Michele looked flawless, they both kept it casual, but made the style look so effortless. I love Katy's shoulderless cropped top, it's very late 90's/early noughties style which I love. I literally want Lea's dress so much, it's so simple and classic.

Ashley Greene glowed in a simple pale peach cut out dress whilst posing for a selfie with Kellan Lutz, who looks spot on with his Coachella 2014 style.

But my top 3 style inspirations from Coachella 2014 have been these three beauties:

Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner really stood out from the crowd!
Everything they have worn over Coachella 2014 they have styled amazingly with bindi's, accessories and sunnies.

Who's been your style icon for this years Coachella 2014?!

Peace Out.

Review: Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub

Hey everyone.

I do love good exfoliator and when I tried a Sanctuary one I was bought buy the product, when I ran out of it I decided to try and different one from the Sanctuary line.

Being an exfoliator lover I've tried a fair few and this is one of my favourites.
It's very abrasive on the skin, but I find this helps get rid or all the dry, scaly patches..After all it is a sea salt scrub.

In the jar at the top is body oil, so after I get out of the bath I have no need to moisturise, which is such a bonus; two in one product.

The packaging I can't fault, the jar is a great way to store the product, I find it makes it easier to apply in the bath this way with the little lock.

Do you have any scrubs you recommend?!

Peace Out.

My Fake Tanning Routine

Hey everyone.

My skin colour is what some people call an English Rose; me personally, I loved being tanned, bronzed and glowing.

I have had some bad tanning experiences so I decided to really look into buying a new fake tan, I looked at reviews and spoke to a few people which led me to decide that I wanted to buy the St Moriz fake tanning mousse (I also bought St Tropez tanning mitt too.)

Two days before I apply the tan I use an exfoliating scrub and my usual moisturiser.
The day before I apply the tan I use exfoliating gloves and give my skin a VERY good scrub with shower gel or soap and use a thick body butter.

The day after I apply the tan I take a bath and wash off the top layer (as St Moriz is a green based tan) and am left with a gorgeous bronzed (non oompa loompa) looking tan.

What fake tans do you recommend?!

Peace Out.
