REVIEW: Cath Kidston Bath Melt Bar

Tuesday, 28 January 2014
Hey everyone.

For Christmas I got a gift from a friend and it was Cath Kidston's Bath Melt Bar in Bluebell.

It comes with eight bath melt squares, but you can use two at a time. They are the colour white and look a bit like chalk.

The scent of this is so soothing. The bluebell smell covers the bathroom.
This doesn't do anything colourful or bubbly to the bath; but it does leave the water a lot softer and leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling beautifully.

What are your favourite Cath Kidston products?

Peace Out.

Review: Loreal's Mega Volume- Miss Manga

Saturday, 25 January 2014
Hey everyone.

Recently I made a cheeky purchase of Loreal's Mega Volume- Miss Manga, I've always been a lover of Loreal's mascaras ever since I started wearing make up. I picked it up at the promotion price of £5.99.

I'm so thrilled I made this purchase. I cannot speak highly enough about this mascara.
Usually when you see the promotional photos you want to buy the product so can get the same effect; most of the time you cannot get the effect and are dissappointed.

Here is the promotional photo with the gorgeous Barbara Palvin:

Here is the effect I got (Not the best quality photo, I apologise):

I have fallen in love with the wand on this mascara too, it's different to any other ones I've tried; it's a mix between plastic and brush. It's flexible so you can coat every eyelash with mascara, I always find it so awkward to get the tiny eyelashes near my tear duct.

I really recommend this mascara to everyone and you should all gets your hands on it while it's only £5.99.

Have you tried Loreal mascaras? If so which ones??

Peace Out.

Fashion Favourite: Topshop's Frilly Socks

Saturday, 18 January 2014
Hey everyone.

I noticed on my blog I don't have many fashion posts so I wanted to change that; starting off with something simple I like to style. As you can tell by the title I'm going to talk about frilly socks, in particular Topshop's.

This is my little, but growing collection.

I really feel like these socks can make an outfit so cute and they can be added to so many types of outfits. Whether it's skater skirts, jeans, crop tops, dresses, converse; it all pairs so well.

The frilly socks originated from the 90's and myself being a 90's baby/kid I grew up wearing frilly socks when I was little and I hated them, especially when I had the wear them with sandals. But times have changed (as well as fashion) and they're a real favourite of mine.

I got these from Topshop and they're £3.50 each or three pairs for £8.

What's your favourite things from Topshop?!

Peace Out.

DIY: Make Up Brushes Jar

Tuesday, 14 January 2014
Hey everyone.

I've been a bit creative lately and I've made a make up brush holder, from plain to pretty.

Starting off with a glass, this glass was from a small pot of Nutella I washed it out and it's perfect to use.

I then went to my local craft shop and brought one and a half metres of this pretty material.

I then started to twirl the material around the cup to create this sort of look.

Keep twirling until it's right at the top and it should look something like this.

I then placed all my Real Techniques in this cup and now I really want to get lots of Nutella cups and decorated them all pretty and differetly.

Here is the finished product.

What's your favourite DIY item?

Peace Out.

Review: Lush's The Comforter

Saturday, 11 January 2014
Hey everyone.

I'm going to review Lush's bubble bar 'The Comforter'.

(Excuse the dirty label)

The scent of this bubble bar is a girly smell; flowers, petals and candles.

The scent fills the bathroom nicely and creates and gorgeous bath filled with bubbles.

Bubble bar's are very smooth and crumbly The Comforter is a beautiful pink and white swirl.

If you're planning on trying something different at Lush I recommend you try this; it leaves your skin feeling lovely and soft; it lasts for about 10 baths, also who doesn't want a pink bubble bath?!

What would you recommend from Lush?

Peace Out.

Make Up Starter Kit.

Tuesday, 7 January 2014
Hey everyone.

I see on YouTube, Twitter and Blogger a lot of young girls very conflicted on what's the best products to buy when starting off using make up.

As I've been there and done all that also made quite a lot of mistakes, I wanted to create this post of what I do if I had the chance again.

All my choices are drugstore, so they're a reasonable price.

Starting off, I started using make up when I was about 12/13...I used foundation (too much) and when I look back I wish I hadn't used any foundation until I REALLY needed to.
I'd start off with a tinted moisturiser it's a lighter formula than foundation also it's clogs your skin up less:

I think Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer is a must-have in everyone's collection.
Just for under your eyes and the odd spot:

To set all of these products I think the best power is Rimmel's Stay Matte:

For a little extra colour to the cheeks Sleek is perfect:

MUA palette's are a perfect Urban Decay dupe and a great natural choice for starting off your eyeshadow collection:

For mascara a good but to start off is Maybelline:

I think every make up bag needs a red lipstick and a nude lip gloss:

I hope this was helpful.

What are your make up bag must haves?!

Peace Out.

REVIEW: Lush's Dragons Egg

Saturday, 4 January 2014
Hey everyone.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and new years, I have decided as it's a new year I'm going to TRY and post every Tuesday and Saturday..If there is any type of post you'd like me to write about let me know in the comments!

Today's post is going to be about Lush's Dragons Egg; Bath Ballistic.

I'm like most people in the way I struggle to describe scents, the only way I could describe this scent is the infamous smell of a Lush store, the second you step into a Lush store you can smell the aroma.

This ballistic has a white coating with pretty coloured bath confetti entwined into it, inside of this is a peach/orange bath bomb which creates a very pretty bath.

Here is the bomb exploding into the water:

Here is the finished bath look:

I hope you all enjoyed this post..

What's your favourite Lush product?!

Peace Out.
