Skincare - Emmuni review.

Thursday, 28 November 2013
Hey everyone.

This post is going to be about a skincare line called Emmuni.

I got followed by the lovely Heather and I asked her all about the skincare line, so after speaking to her she sent me samples of the range.

Just to say I have normal/combination skin, also I have acne and this didn't cause problems.

She sent me enough for three days.

Starting off with cleanser:

This is such an amazing cleanser, it's a gel formula you rub in circular motions and then wash off with lukewarm water. It leaves your skin feeling so soft.

This is what it says it is...a refreshing toner. This is a water liquid substance and it leaves your skin feeling revived and refreshed. You apply it with and cotton wool pad!

Life C energizing serum:

I used this serum under my eyes and on my neck. This serum is incredibly soothing and is like a jelly texture and I really loved using this product, also loved the way it felt my skin feeling.

Day moisturiser:

This day moisturiser is lovely, it's a smooth texture but not too greasy. It's really a great product for your skin and has SPF 15 in it which is an added bonus.

Eye cream:

Next is the restoring eye cream, this cream is absolutely lovely. It's so creamy and soothing for your eyes, helps get rid of lines and dark under eye circles (which I have). This product is fab!

Night cream:

I found this night cream great when I woke up in the morning, after using the products together
my skin was in great condition when I got up in the morning (which is a very rare thing for me).

I really do recommend all these products whatever skin type you have.

Contact Heather if you have any questions about it.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.

#TheWinterProject Week 3 - Favourite Winter scents

Tuesday, 26 November 2013

I can't believe it's week 3 of #TheWinterProject and this week we're talking about our favourite winter scents.

I've picked one product which is a perfume.

DKNY's Be Delicious perfume.

I feel this is a really Wintery scent for me, it smells like an autumn and winters day!
It's the perfect mixture of a sweet scent and a non sweet scent.
I highly recommend this perfume to everyone as I feel it's one everyone should have in their collections.

I know this was a short post, but I hope you all enjoyed!

Peace Out.

Lip Care Routine.

Saturday, 23 November 2013
Hey everyone.

As winter is fast coming I've noticed my lips are becoming more chapped and dry, so I thought I must do something about this and I wanted to share with you my lips for keeping my lips healthy through the colder weather.

Starting off with scrubbing your lips.

You need to scrub your lips to remove all the dry and dead skin off of your lips.

I use Lush's lip scrub in Bubblegum

I think this is a great product for you lips and leaves them feeling smooth, soft and polished.

I realised £5.50 can be a lot of money for a lip scrub, but I have a quick recipe if you'd like to make it yourself.

Mix a teaspoon of honey with a teaspoon of brown sugar, mix together. Coat your lips with the mixture and scrub.

Or even if you want to do something easier you can use your toothbrush and brush your lips in a circular motion.

Now there are three products that I find helps hydrate, moisturise and keep my lips feeling great.

EOS- Lip balm and the flavour is mint!

This is a great product to take around in your handbag and it's so great for your lips.
It's easy to apply and the packaging is adorable.

My second lip product to talk about is Nivea's lip butter in caramel cream.

This product is very rich a creamy which is great to get rid of the dryness, I like to put this on at night as it leaves my lips looking a little creamy, but it's not too bad.

My third lip product is Vaseline in rosy lips.

Vaseline is always a reliable product for many things, including lips.
I like using the original, but rosy lips does the same job and leaves you lovely glossy, natural looking lips

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.

#TheWinterProject Week 2 - Winter Accessories

Tuesday, 19 November 2013

Hey everyone.

It's week 2 of #TheWinterProject and I'm interested to see everyone's favourite Winter accessories.

I have three to show you, so let's get started!

Firstly is a scarf.

Tartan is a HUGE trend this season and usually in my wardrobe I like keep a little tartan skirt because I like it. So I'm very happy it's becoming a trend; especially in the winter season, I feel it fits well.

I really thought I'd join the trend, so when I popped to Primark a couple of weeks ago I picked up this scarf for £5.

I love this scarf very much, it's so warm and it can make an outfit, very happy purchase.

My second favourite winter accessory is head wear.

I'm loving these sort of hat/headbands this season.

I think if you're not a fan of beanies then these are the things for you and if you're having a bad hair day these are great.

They're easy to style up and inexpensive.

The grey one with the bow is from Primark and was only £1.50.
The leopard print headband was from a local boutique and the price was £5.

Thirdly is some snuggly socks.

I love slipper socks a lot more than slippers, so I always like to have lots of pairs.
I think these wintery patterned ones are so cute and they keep your toes nice and toasty.

I don't know how much they were as they were given to me as a gift.

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.

#TheWinterProject Week 1 - Favourite Winter Nail Polish

Tuesday, 12 November 2013

Hey everyone. It's the first #TheWinterProject post and I'm so excited that it's finally started.

This week it's all about our favourite Winter nail polish and I have two to tell you about.

My first one is by Essie in the shade Twin Sweater Set.

I think this is a perfect Winter colour, it's a gorgeous red, but not too bright. I also absolutely love the name of this polish, it's so wintery.

This is also perfect for all the Christmas events coming up and it's and easy colour to pair with lots of outfits.

Here's a close up of what the colour looks like (excuse the wrinkly thumb)

My next favourite Winter nail polish is by Barry M and it's called Copper.

This nail polish colour is so beautiful, I think you always need a good sparkly nail polish (with Christmas coming up ;)

This has hints of golden sparkles and brown sparkles. Sometimes the texture of sparkly nail polish can feel really rough, but this has a smooth texture..Also as we all know how difficult it is to remove practically all nail polishes that contains sparkles, but with this consistency it's actually really easy to take off.

Here's a close up of the colour.

I hope you all enjoyed my first #TheWinterProject.

Peace Out.

Primer review: Benefit and Nivea

Tuesday, 5 November 2013
Hey everyone.

Today's post is going to be a double review of my most recent primers. I feel for my make up routine primer is a big yes fore me, as I have a bit of an oily T-Zone.

I feel primer is a great product for not only stopping your make up from running and smudging because of the oil, but for it to remain settled and smart looking on your face whether you have oily skin or not.

My first primer to talk about is Benefit's Porefessional.

This primer is a double use product, as it gives the hint in the is for minimising your pores and also is a great use for priming. I'm happy to say it really is true, it does minimise the apperence of your pores.

I love to apply this product on my nose, pores and under my eyes. I love the way my make up lays when I use this product, it helps gives a flawless effect. The texture is similar to a gel form.

The next primer I'm a huge lover of is the Nivea Daily Essentials Primer.

I use this primer all over my face in the places I don't use my porefessional. The texture of this primer feels quite oily, but it's really not once you blend it over your skin. It's a really great product and keeps my make up on for so much longer than it would without it. For me primer is a must have product and I feel this is a great product that doesn't break the bank.

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.
