#theSOproject Week 10 - Tools

Hey everyone.

I can't believe it's the last #theSOproject post...It's gone so fast and I've enjoyed it very much. Big thanks to StephsVoice http://stephsinsidevoice.blogspot.co.uk/ for organising it!

It's all about tools this week and I have two favourite brands to talk about.

Firstly is Real Techniques: I am a big love of this brand, the quality of these brushes is fabulous.
I have the stippling brush and the expert face brush.

They apply make incredibly, they give you the most flawless look when using foundation. The bristles on these brushes are so soft and are easy to blend with. Overall I feel everyone's make up collection needs at least one of the Real Techniques brushes, great purchase.

Next is Eco-Tools: I have lots of tools from this brand, I think the way they make their brushes so natural and non harmful is great.

I have quite the collection at the moment and love them. I have (naming them in order of the photo) the blush brush, concealer brush, three eyeshadow brushes, eyeliner brush, a brow and lashes brush and at the top and smudging brush.

As for their use...I think they're great! Easy to use, great for blending and all purpose use! Highly recommend these tools.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Also because this is the last #theSOproject post, I've created a carry on project (with advice from StephsVoice) called #TheWinterProject it would be great if you all got involved. Check out this link for more info... http://t.co/i6ovbr6mgB

#theSOproject Week 9 - Lips

Hey everyone.

It's week 9 of #theSOproject which means this weeks topic is lips.

I'm going to be talking about three of my favourite high end products and three of my favourite drugstore lip products.

Starting with high end, I'm a huge lover of Mac lip products so I've got two lipglasses and a lipstick to tell you about.

Firstly Mac's Pink Poodle lipglass:

Firstly I love the colour of this product, it's incredibly pigmented a little goes a very long way with this lipgloss! I've had it over a year and I've got over half of it left, also I use this product a lot so it really is a worthy buy. It stays on for such a long time, you can it and drink with it and it lasts.

Mac's Nymphette lipglass:

Once again once this is applied it's a beautiful colour. So pinky and gold, so gorgeous!
Like pink poodle it lasts so long throughout the day and lays so lovely on the lips and is not drying to your lips either, if you're looking for a good lip product this is great.

Mac's lipstick: Creme Cup:

This lipstick is a favourite of mine, a perfect nude lipstick.
It applies so lovely of the lips, very smoothly! Colour of this product is pigmented and it's lasts quite well...Not as long a the lipglasses, but it's doesn't rub off quickly. If you looking to pick your first Mac lipstick I'd say this is the perfect one.

My first drugstore favourite is Revlon's lip butter in Pink Truffle:

I think this product is the best moisturising lipstick ever, if you can even call it a lipstick, it's a great product.
It feels like a lipstick and a lip balm mixed together and is incredible for your lips.
They have a range of great colours and I really recommend them, great product, great price.

Maybelline: Baby Lips - Pink Punch

A much raved product for beauty bloggers and youtubers, me being both I have to agree. There is nothing on the market like this product, the colour, scent and texture is perfect, it amazing on the lips a gorgeous colour and smooth texture. Everyone should have a Baby Lips in their make up collection.

Rimmel- Kate Moss collection 107:

I a huge red lipstick lover, I've tried lots and for some reason this is my favourite, it's a deep berry colour. Kate Moss' collection is a huge favourite for lots of people. The quality is great, this product has massive pigmentation and is a lipstick you need in your collection.

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.

#theSOproject Week 8 - Eyeshadow

Hey everyone.

It's week 8 of #theSOproject which means it's eye shadow discussion time.

I have a high end palette and a drug store trio palette.

I'll start with the high end palette which is Urban Decay's first Naked palette.

I am a huge fan of this palette, it's the best eye shadow palette I've tried. The quality of these eye shadow's are unbelievable, they're so pigmented as well. If you like a natural colours this is the palette for you.
Here are the beautiful colours:

My drug store favourite is a 17 trio called 'In The Nude' it's like a smaller, cheaper version of the Naked palette.

I was really shocked and surprised by this product, I really can't believe how go it is and how inexpensive it really is. These again are very pigmented, also they are very smooth to apply.
I do highly recommend this as I was pleasantly surprised.

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.

#theSOproject Week 7 - Eyeliner

Hey everyone.

It's week 7 of #theSOproject which means it's eyeliner week.

I have two to talk to you about so let's get started.

My first favourite is a liquid liner by Loreal, it's called the Super Liner and it lives by it's name; it's a super, super great product. I'm not the best person when it comes to liquid liner, but this product has made me look ok when doing my eyeliner. It stays on for a very long time and doesn't smudge, it's also very easy to take off.

The wand to apply it is the key to this product, it's spongey but it stays in a straight line and works with you to create what you want.

My second favourite is a kohl liner by Bourjois.

It not only has a black pencil, it also has a white side which is great for brightening.
This product is one where a little goes a long way, I've used this eyeliner ever since I started using make up and I personally think it is the best kohl eyeliner and highly recommend it.

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.

#theSOproject Week 6 - Mascara

Hey everyone.

It's week 6 of #theSOproject and that means it's time to talk about my favourite mascara.

I am a HUGE mascara lover, I love trying new and different ones because I love my lashes looking long and thick.

I have two, one drugstore and one high-end, so lets get started!

For starters my favourite drugstore mascara is Loreal's Mega Volume Collagene 24 in Black Smoke.

This is such a brilliant product. If your lashes lack length, colour and you want them to be thick and bold this is the product is right for you.

The brush is thick and can make your lashes look so long and black.

I've fallen in love with this product and it's the biggest duplicate for Benefit's They're Real mascara.

Which leads me on to my favourite high-end mascara.

Benefit's 'They're Real' mascara is my all time favourite. It is really the best mascara I have ever tried and it does do what it says. With one coat your lashes will look fabulously long and black, after you've layed it if you want they look AMAZING!

The brush is very plastic even the bristles, but that's the key to this mascara that's what makes the lashes fabulous.

The only downside to this product is taking it off, it is a struggle...but that shows this product doesn't wear off or smudge.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Peace Out.
