#THESOPROJECT - Skincare: Simple

Tuesday, 27 August 2013

Hey everyone.

I've joined #theSOproject created by the lovely Stephanie from Steph's Inside Voice!

Where every Tuesday for the next nine weeks we're going to be discussing our favorite beauty products and such.

Today's product is skincare; one of my favorite skincare brands is 'Simple'.

I have four of their products, I've been using them for about four months and I'm absolutely thrilled with them. I have dry/combination skin.

Cleanser: The Simple cleanser is fabulous, it's a lovely rich creamy texture and smells fresh. I place a 50p size on a cotton wool pad and remove my make-up in upwards motions. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Face Wash: Simple's face wash leaves your face feeling fresh and revived. The texture is a mix of a clear and creamy substance. I apply water on my face, I then take a small blob on my fingers and distribute it around my face, then I rinse it off.

Moisturiser: I use the Simple Moisturiser - Day Cream. This product is great of you have dry/combination skin, it very, very moisturising and is perfect if you have this skin type. It's creamy and leaves your skin glowing after applying.

Face Mask: Simple's face mask is very creamy and moisturising, it really gives your skin a good, purifying revive and leaves it in wonderful condition. I do highly recommend this product especially, a good boost for your skin.

I hope you all enjoyed my first #THESOPROJECT post!

One Direction: MUA Make Up Review

Wednesday, 21 August 2013
Hey everyone.

Today I'm going to be reviewing MUA's (Make Up Academy) new One Direction make up.

I popped into Superdrug and picked up two products: Harry's nail polish and Harry's lipstick:

Both of these products are beautiful colours.
The formula is brilliant too, these products have great quality.

The lipstick stays on for a long time, even when your eating and drinking it stays on.

Here is myself wearing this lipstick:

The pink nail polish is such a pretty colour, the brush to apply it is wonderful and it's easy use.
When you paint your nails it's easy to keep it on the nail without making a mess.

Overall I'm in love with this line and I highly recommend it, I've also got my Nan a Niall lipstick for her birthday, this is how satisfied I was with this line.
These are not the only products in this line..Here's a link the the full range online: http://www.superdrug.com/icat/mua-1direction

Everything is only £3.00 which I think is a bargin.

Hope you all enjoyed this post. Peaceeeee.

Summer Playlist: Songs to get ready to

Thursday, 1 August 2013
Hey everyone!

Today i'm going to be telling some of my favourite songs this summer that I get ready to in the morning.

Firstly one of my favourite bands is 5 Seconds Of Summer, I got the opportunity to see them live at a One Direction concert in February and I thought they were incredible live. One of their songs I've been listening to on repeat is their song called 'Try Hard' it's a brilliant song with a funny music video. You should definitely check them out on YouTube. Here's the link to 'Try Hard'.

Another song I've been playing a lot so far this summer is 'Love Me Again' by John Newman.
It's been a big hit so far and it's such a fun song to listen to, it makes you want to get up and dance around the house. The video is quite 80's style and fashion which I love:

A new pop sensation getting bigger by the day is Austin Mahone, he has a brilliant new song out called 'What About Love'. It has quite the Backstreet Boys music vibe and I love it. I can tell in the next few months he's going to be a huge hit so give his song a listen to here:

The next artist I'm a huge fan of which is Ariana Grande, she's released a fabulous next song called 'The Way' which features Mac Miller. It's a fun song to listen to, it's got a Mariah Carey vibe about it and it's just the perfect summer song. Ariana also looks so incredibly stunning in the video, which you can check out here:

Avril Lavigne has made a fantastic comeback this year, which I was very happy about because I've loved her music since was about 7/8 years old. Her new song 'Here's To Never Growing Up' is an upbeat fun party song to dance around to, it's a similar format to her older music which I enjoy and think it was a great choice to say with.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I wanted to do something a little different.

Peace Out.
